Dream Cast: Avengers: Age of Ultron

In honor of Women’s History Month (are you celebrating by telling a woman that she’s awesome everyday? I hope so!) I’m combining my love for comic book movies and telling people what to do to create my dream cast for the The Avengers: Age of Ultron except with only females casted in the main roles!

Although I can appreciate some Chris Evans in that red white and blue uniform, you know who’d make a great female Cap?

Five Things (YouTube Version)

Finding a new style to post in is posing to be difficult for me because I love sharing my feelings with GIFs! The main goal of this blog is for readers to know me better and that’s by learning that I watch too much TV and many movies and that I’ve forgotten how to communicate like a normal human being. Therefore, this is a silly assignment and I refuse to do it! Correctly.

But, on the other hand, I can communicate with videos! I used to be big into YouTube, even had a channel with subscribers I didn’t have to pay off or anything! I’ve fallen off heavily in the last 4 years, but I happened to be scrolling through my favorite videos and laughing at what kind of stuff I was interested in at the time. Twilight movie trailer? Check (btw, I’m reformed). Makeup tutorials I never used. YESSIR. Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged performance of “Dumb”? You got it.

After the cut, here’s five videos that tell you more about me. Please don’t judge.

Golden Globes 2015

This is in no way a fashion blog, but what I love about awards season is THE FASHION. I feel like in my 20s I should have had more chances to get dolled up in a  gown and show out.

But since that has yet to happen, I choose to live vicariously through celebrities and their beautiful designer everything. My winner for the night, thus far? Kate Hudson:

SLAY MAMA! She wears a lot of white during award shows and can clearly pull it off. This Versace Versace Versace is giving me Vegas showgirl realness and I’m loving it? Ba-da-da-da-da

But who else were some of my faves? After the cut!

This Is A Music Post

For those of you that followed and have been reading this blog before 2015, I’ve started this class called Blogging 101 offered by WordPress. Basically, it’s a session that aims to give me focus with my writing as a means of discovering my voice, and making my blog appealing in the process. So, any post you see tagged with “Blogging 101” is for that purpose. But hell, it could be informative or entertaining for you guys to read as well, so do what you feel.

For those that followed me because of Blogging 101, hey again! Let’s talk music, k?

Charles Barkley is Right

Well, you know, in the way that cutting someone off on the road is right and letting your dog jump on little kids while taking a walk is right. He’s right in the way that he actually isn’t, he’s incredibly wrong and ignorant and I’m about tired of people like him, Ben Carson, and Don Lemon existing and using their power (or access to public microphones) to make comments on the Black community as if they were appointed by us and for us. Stop it.

Oh, For F*cks Sake, People Magazine

And I’m wholly unimpressed.
